Jack Woodward is a young (23) singer-songwriter from North-West England who writes and performs catchy and passionate songs in indie and pop genres.

2017 sees Jack recording songs for his 2nd EP, from which his first single ‘Let it Happen’ was released on March 4th along with an exciting performance of new material at the Manchester Academy. ‘Let it Happen’ has already been played multiple times on Amazing radio and BBC Introducing Lancashire.

Jack released his debut EP ‘Fly Away’ in November 2016, along with a launch event at Gullivers in Manchester performing with his backing band which showcased the production and creative input of Sugar House (Viola Beach, Pale Waves).

Fly Away’ EP was the #2 best-selling singer-songwriter album on iTunes pre-order chart and was #82 on the singer-songwriter itunes chart on its release day. ‘Honey’ the lead song from Jack’s EP was nominated for Best Song of 2016 by Best of British Unsigned. Jack has had backing from BBC Introducing, including regular plays on BBC Lancashire and amazing radio. Jack’s singles from his debut EP were met with great responses from fans, radio stations and reviewers. ‘Fly Away’ EP is available in stores, online with iTunes and Spotify, YouTube and Soundcloud.

Jack opened for Rae Morris at King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow and has supported many other established touring artists including Karima Francis, Trace Bundy and Liam McClair.
