7 Day Weekend

7 Day Weekend
Genres: Alternative/ Pop Rock

With catchy guitar riffs, and strong emotionally driven lyrics, 7 Day Weekend have drawn comparisons to You Me At Six and Young Guns.

Since releasing their Debut EP in fall of 2011, they have been on two self funded tours of the UK, the last in summer 2012.

Before their packed out Hometown show in February 2012, the Band, made up of Calan Nickle (Vocals),Tom Hancox (Lead Guitar), Clayton Leah (Rhythm Guitar), John Handy (Drums) & Dan Hancox (Bass), recorded a 4 track Acoustic EP. Given away for free, this caught the attention of Neil Starr (Attack! Attack!) and Gavin Butler (The Blackout), who invited the band to open their Manchester date of the Ghosts & Echoes tour.

Following on from that, 7 Day Weekend played their biggest show to date on April 24th, in-front of 1000 hometown fans as the sole support of Feeder on their April tour.7 Day Weekend have recently released their 2nd EP ‘The Day We Lived And Died’, which followed their first stand alone single, ‘Endless Doses’, recorded in Birmingham with Kerrang! Award nominee, Paul Tandy (Octane OK)
