WARRINGTON’S Neighbourhood Weekender festival will not now take place this year with the event moved to next May.
The two-day music festival in Victoria Park was originally due be held last weekend.
After the event was initially moved to September by organisers earlier this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, it has now been confirmed the event has been cancelled for 2020 and will return on May 29 and 30, 2021.
Most of the line-up remains the same and Warrington’s Ian Brown and Catfish and the Bottlemen remain the headliners.
Tickets remain valid and ticket holders can request a refund if they can no longer attend.
A spokesman said: “We hope everyone is as well as can be through this really difficult time.
“All of you should have been having an amazing weekend listening to live music with your best friends and it is a real shame that this could not happen.”
The Festival was initially postponed and moved to Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September, but with all festivals being cancelled in 2020, the company behind the Festival, SJM have cancelled the event in full.
