Opening in April 2019, Warrington’s newest music venue LiveBar has already had some amazing acts come through their doors including Witch Fever, Dantevilles and Jeramiah Ferrari, as well as a DJ set by Joe from Idles frontman, Joe Talbot.
With Average Joe returning to Warrington this Friday after a Neighbourhood Weekender appearance, Nile Marr, The Seamonsters and Spilt all coming up, Charlotte Davies (events Manager) and Greg Dixon (Venue Manager) are understandably proud to be bringing the most exciting new talent to the 250 capacity venue.
‘We’re striving to make LiveBar the place to be for new music. – Charlotte Davies
This Thursday (6th) will see the Barbauld Street venue launch a brand new unsigned music industry networking event, which will take place every Thursday.
The first line up will feature Sapho, TicNoToc, Passionflower and Jordyn Leyland. The aim of the weekly free entry event is to encourage people to come down and support brand new music, have the chance to speak to other musicians and people who work within the industry. The Facebook event can be found here.
Charlotte says: ‘As a town that can boast gigs by the likes of Blur, The Rolling Stones and even Aretha Franklin back in the day, our aim is to put together unforgettable line-ups of emerging talent and create a place where people can catch the newest bands before they hit the big time.
‘The two of us on the core team have 20 years of music industry experience between us, and we’re striving to make LiveBar the place to be for new music.’
