Music mogul Alan McGee will be sharing stories about discovering Oasis and working with bands like Primal Scream when he visits Pyramid this May.

The Scottish businessman and music industry executive has been a record label owner, musician, manager and music blogger for The Guardian.
He is best known for co-founding and running the independent Creation Records label and is the man who discovered and signed Oasis.
On Friday 10 May, you can join Alan as he discusses his career, the music industry and his relationship with bands such as Oasis and Primal Scream.
Creation Records was a British independent record label founded in 1983 by Alan McGee, Dick Green, and Joe Foster. Over the course of its sixteen-year history, Creation predominantly focused on alternative rock, releasing several influential indie rock, shoegazing, and Britpop records from the likes of A Certain Ratio, Super Furry Animal as well as early Oasis records.
There will also be an opportunity for the audience to ask Alan questions about his colourful and varied career.
The night will be hosted by author and broadcaster Ron Fiddaman.
