The ultimate Manchester music festival is coming to Warrington’s Bank Park this June.
Popular Warrington music festival Glastonferry has teamed up with North West music promoters GS Promotions to present Glastonferry in the Park, a sensational one day tribute festival taking place on Saturday 22 June.
The 5,000-capacity event will bring the sounds of Manchester’s biggest bands to one of Warrington’s most iconic locations with hugely popular Stone Roses tribute band The Clone Roses taking the headline slot.
One of the UK’s longest-running and most celebrated tributes, The Clone Roses have spent the past two decades selling out venues nationwide with their amazingly accurate renditions of Stone Roses classics.
The full festival line-up includes tributes to some of Manchester’s most legendary bands – Oas-is, The Smiths Ltd, Appy Mundays, The James Experience, The Courtbetweeners and The Verve Experience.
“Mr Manchester” himself Clint Boon will be spinning the tunes on the day alongside host and compere DJ Dave Sweetmore.
