Parr Hall is taking centre stage on ITV as the promotional video for a popular singing contest is released.
North West gig-goers are being urged to keep their eyes peeled for a familiar sight as the new advert for ITV’s The Voice hits our screens.
Music moguls Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Olly Murs and Jennifer Hudson all headed to the Warrington venue in October to film the advert, accompanied by host and presenter Emma Willis.
The four judges took to the Parr Hall stage as they told the story of a music super group who were on the look-out for a new lead singer, while Emma works at the sound desk.
During the 60-second clip, the camera pans across the room, showcasing some of Parr Hall’s distinctive features.
Chris Persoglio, venue and events manager at Parr Hall, is excited to finally see the finished product.
He said: “The whole experience was a fantastic opportunity for us and it’s great to see how well the project has come together.
“It was a huge honour to be chosen as the location for filming and we’re thrilled to see Parr Hall’s features highlighted on the trailer.”
The Voice UK first launched on BBC in 2012 as a singing competition that introduced contestants through a series of blind auditions.
In November 2015, ITV acquired the rights to air an additional three series, from January 2017.
The latest series of the show is due to return to TV screens in January 2019.
Warrington singer-songwriter Mo Jamie was famously the winner of the TV show in 2017, with flatmate, Max Vickers making it to the semi-final.
