Milestones announce Break-Up, final shows to come in January

Sad news this morning from the Milestones camp who have announced that they’re calling it a day, and will be heading out on a short run of farewell shows in January. Based in Manchester, they include Andrew Procter from Burtonwood on guitar.

The band can track their formation back to meeting through a UK Pop Punk Facebook group with Andrew joining alongside founding drummer, Andy Makin, from the recently defunct Sometime After Dark in 2014.

The decision to part ways was mutually decided amongst the band, as each of the members looks to pursue other avenues and begin new chapters in their lives, but hint at the struggles to be found on a bands mental health and life in a very challenging music industry.

You can read their statement in full below:

Milestones will play two final shows next year:

January 18 London – Thousand Island
January 19 Manchester – Night People
