Love Island song written by Runcorn family gets played on Radio 1

Bit Of Me (My Type On Paper)

A RUNCORN family have been hitting all the right notes after their song about popular ITV2 show Love Island was played on Radio 1.

Bit Of Me (My Type On Paper) was put together by the amateur family songwriting team known as ‘Dolly’s Girls’ who live in Widnes and Runcorn. Names after their beloved Nan/Mum, the track went viral after being played during the Scott Mill’s show last month, before the final of the reality TV show.

“We all like music and write songs together just for fun.

“We just thought let’s have a go and found someone on the internet to do the music for us.

The track was put together by Krafty Music Productions, friends of Haley Green, one of the ‘girls who was also interviewed by the Radio 1 DJ. A dance version was also produced and you can hear that below.
