Planning under way for live music event at Old Town House for PAPYRUS Charity

Papyrus Charity Event Old Town House HELP raise money for PAPYRUS at a charity drive next weekend. Full line up can be found below and through the poster.

Nicola Warburton, from Penketh, will be hosting a live music event at Old Town House on Saturday, April 7, from 1pm.

Visitors are encouraged to make a £4 donation on the door. The days line up is:

2pm – 2.30pm KERRY SHEREE
2.45pm – 3.15pm LIGHTNESS
3.30pm – 4pm MARKY LE FROG
4.15pm – 4.45pm BEN N. CHI
5pm – 6pm – BOOKER
7pm – 7.30pm SCRATCH
7.45pm – 8.15pm GUS GLYNN
9.15pm – 9.45pm KYE JONES
10pm – 10.45pm EXPIRY DATE
11pm – 12am – KERRY SHEREE

The 25-year-old said: “Supporting the charity is very important to me because I believe it is a topic that is not widely discussed.

“We need to be made more aware of the support that is out there to help prevent the issues that the charity is dedicated to.

“I have sadly known people affected, and been affected by the issues and fully support PAPYRUS in all the work that they do which is why I decided to organise this live music event and also promote the music talent in the area.”

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK.

Every year more than 1,600 young people take their own life.

PAPYRUS is the national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide.

Ottilie Scanlon, PAPYRUS fundraising officer, said: “Our supporters and fundraisers provide a huge part of our income, which helps us to reach more people across the UK, supporting young people at risk of suicide.”
