Now more than ever, International Women’s Day is a prominent date to celebrate the achievements of females across the world.

Locally and across the globe, we can see the music “industry” is dominated by males. You only have to look at a Festival Lineup to see few females are performing. But there is some fantastic performers, photographers, writers, engineers and everything in between, and more every year. At [WAM] we will join others in celebrating some of our favourite moments, featuring some fantastic women.
