On Wire FM (107.2) this Friday lunch time around 1:30pm, [WAM] will be bringing to you another two more local artists, both of which can be found this Saturday at the Parr Hall’s huge showcase of local artists for Independent Venue Week
Headlining the night will be Man and the Echo. After releasing their debut album just over a year ago, the four-piece have gone on to play the likes of Kendal Calling, Rivfest and gone on several tours of the country. Bringing substance and politics back into pop, this is the first single they ever wrote for the band so fitting we should be playing it, an ode to the north, this is Distance Runner.
Also playing on the night are Delphina Kings, made up of brothers Chris and Pete Gibson, bassist Andy and brand new guitarist making him debut tomorrow night, Charlie.
After previously recording with Sugar House, the bands last two tracks have been self recorded and produced, brining through an DIY ethnic that is bound to leave them in good stead. Even the video for ‘Electric’ is made by the band. Press play and prepare to get dancing, to this track.
They are joined on the night by Pacific, Weekend Wars, The Ambersons & Big Sky.
Tickets are available on the pyramidparrhall.com website now and on the door.
