
Burtonwood’s finest, Slydigs have released their brand new 6 track EP. ‘How Animal Are You?’. The EP follows last year’s Suburban Confinement, which was accompanied by a documentary about the band shown on British Airways.

The group will tour the UK in May and June before making appearances at massive European festivals Graspop in Belgium and Hellfest in France.
They start their 19 date tour at Manchester’s iconic Deaf Institute on the 19th May. Going on to play York, Newcastle, Sheffield, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Warrington (headlining Warrington Music Festival), Nottingham, Birmingham, Bristol, Brighton, London, Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Amsterdam, Nijmegen, Belgium and France.

2017 sees Slydigs play Warrington Music Festival for the first time since 2014, and are set to dedicate their headline set to Viola Beach.
Dean Fairhurst, Slydigs’ frontman, described the headline gig as a ‘true honour’ and said their set will be dedicated to the four piece indie band whose posthumous Debut album reached number 1 in August 2016.
He said: “The Warrington Music festival has always been a focal point for any up-and-coming, aspiring artists in the area.
“It’s a true honour to be asked to headline this years festival which coincides with our own UK headline tour and EP release.
