Unsigned on Wire FM – Week 4

Week four saw 3 alternative bands from Warrington take to the airwaves this lunchtime on 107.2 Wire FM. Broadcast around 13:30 every Friday, Let me introduce you to 16 Jackals, Dirty Berns and Milestones!

First up we have 16 Jackals originally starting in 2014 when Singer/Guitarist Adam Dale met drummer Max Shkenev, the pair quickly formed arhythmic bond that was hard to break. With Dale’s alt rock riffs complimenting Shkenev’s solid (and sometimes dance) beats, the pair split off to start something new, with Al Blackmore joining to bring driving & catchy bass lines to solidify 16 Jackals.

Dirty Berns have been making Friars Live their 2nd home this year, and that can only mean they are only doing good. The two recordings [WAM] have heard so far we have loved, and look forward to their maiden Warrington Music Festival appearance next month on Saturday 27th May.

Milestones have already been tweeted out by Warrington Wolves to over 72,000 followers as part of our partnership with Warrington Wolves (read more about that here), but this makes their first appearance on the Unsigned feature. They might be signed to California’s Fearless Record, we think they’re doing great and good to see musicians from Warrington flying the flag across the world.
