Speaking to the Warrington Guardian, Dean Fairhurst, frontman of Warrington Music Festival headliners, Slydigs has said their set will be dedicated to “Viola Beach and for every aspiring artist in the area that will hopefully one day headline it themselves”.
Dean Fairhurst, Slydigs’ frontman, described the headline gig as a ‘true honour’ and said their set will be dedicated to the four piece indie band whose posthumous Debut album reached number 1 in August 2016.
He said: “The Warrington Music festival has always been a focal point for any up-and-coming, aspiring artists in the area.
“It’s a true honour to be asked to headline this years festival which coincides with our own UK headline tour and EP release.
