FRIARS LIVE RETURNS SATURDAY 4 FEBRUARY with the biggest and most exciting line-up yet!

Headlining Friars Live is The Luka State, with support from Black Sonic Revolver, Weekend Wars & Dirty Berns.

Consisting of Conrad Ellis (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Sam Bell (Bass), Lewis Pusey (Guitar) and Jake Barnabas (Drums), this four-piece already boost over 3 million views on YouTube, with UK radio airplay support from BBC 6 Music, Introducing and Kerrang! Radio.

Their tightness as a band and as friends has made them a formidable live act and has seen them play to audiences up and down the country both at their own gigs and supporting fellow British band One Night Only. The band have also amassed a horde of international fans through their innovative videos and social media channels; get involved before these guys bring out the Friars Live return for 2017!

Friars Live are continuing to pull through up and coming Manchester talent in the name of Black Sonic Revolver. Currently working on their third LP ‘Different’, Bass player Ryan Vernon is looking forward to showcasing the buzz of these Rock ‘n’ Rollers in front of his home town, alongside Leon James Kelly, Adam Keen & Dave Smith.

Forming late in 2015, Merseyside five piece Weekend Wars already boast impressive strides. From very early BBC Introducing (Dave Monks) support, the band have captured airplay from 6 Music (Steve Lamacq and 6 Music Recommends), Amazing Radio, BBC Radio Scotland (Billy Sloan), and the newly relaunched Virgin Radio (Jon Jackson). The band are quickly adding to their experiences, including a performance slot at Liverpool Sound City, recording their first interview and acoustic session with BBC Introducing, and have been play listed by (among others) Spotify Australia & New Zealand. Weekend Wars continue to display their noise through as many live performances as possible and can expect a very warm welcome at Friars Live.

Four piece Indie Rock band from Warrington kick things off for the evening. Get down early and support!

Advanced tickets are just £3, available here via Skiddle, any band member or behind the bar at Friars Court.
