Warrington Wolves will be looking to make amends for their last appearance in the Super League Grand Final when they face Wigan Warriors, this Saturday at Old Trafford Manchester.
Another team of sorts who will hope things go more to plan will be rock band, FEEDER, who were set to play in 2011 but due to wet weather, were unable to perform on the pitch when the stage was unable to be erected.
Feeder will perform at the biggest night of the Super League season and treat the crowd to a selection of their most famous hits such as ‘Feeling A Moment’, ‘Just The Way I’m Feeling’, ‘Buck Rogers’ and ‘Just A Day’ as well as new tracks from their upcoming album ‘All Bright Electric’ their first for four years.
This isn’t the first time that the band have performed for the enjoyment of their Warrington fans however. Their last album before the lengthy hiatus was ‘Generation Freakshow’ which saw the band play a sold-out show at the Parr Hall on the 24th April 2012. There was only one support on the night, and that was the hand picked Pop-Rock five piece, 7 Day Weekend from the town, and it was their biggest show yet.
View the below two videos from a snapshot at both the bands on the night.
7 Day Weekend were well received by the hometown crowd, who previewed their forthcoming single ‘Endless Doses’ and ending the night on their usual energetic rock cover of Taio Cruz’s, ‘Dynamite’. Despite the bands young ages (between 16 and 18), the band went on to tour the UK for the 2nd time in two years before headlining the 2nd day of music at Warrington Music Festival in 2013.
We would like to wish Warrington Wolves all the success this Saturday. #Hardwired
