WARRINGTON band Man and the Echo are working on their debut album after performing at Glastonbury.
The four-piece played on Billy Bragg’s Leftfield Stage at the celebrated festival in June where Coldplay paid tribute to Viola Beach by covering Boys That Sing.
It has been a good year for Man and the Echo with support from John Kennedy on Radio X who champions new, emerging and under-the-radar musicians on his X-Posure show.
The band, whose music is described as oddball pop with a touch of socialist ideals, have also had airplay on Radio 2, Radio 4, 6 Music and Absolute Radio. Members of the band have previously played Warrington Music Festival under the guise of Cheap Cuts.
