A TRIBUTE night dedicated to Viola Beach and their manager Craig Tarry will be held at the Parr Hall on Saturday, April 2.
The concert will be hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Phil Taggart and will feature a line-up of ‘friends, bands they’ve played with, influences and peers from across the country’.
It is hoped that the evening will be an upbeat celebration of the Warrington band’s music and lives with all funds going to their families.
The details of the line-up are yet to be revealed.
This month would have seen the band play their homecoming at the Pyramid and travel to Texas for the prestigious South By South West festival.
Since their deaths, hundreds of people have paid their respects by laying flowers and lighting candles outside The Lounge in Springfield Street where Viola Beach played their first gig.
Their song Swings and Waterslides also reached number 11 in the official chart after their deaths.
